The analysts believe that Samsung will most likely launch the Galaxy Tab S3 at the upcoming MWC 2017 event in Barcelona. This device will have an exquisite design featuring four stereo speakers located at the top and the bottom of the screen.
Besides this, it will also have a headset jack and a USB Type-C port for quick charging and data transfer. The home button is going to work as a fingerprint scanner, while most of the other buttons, including the volume rockers, power button, microphone hole, as well as the memory card and SIM tray, will be on the tablet’s right side.
It is important to mention that one of the best features of the Galaxy Tab S3 will be the S Pen. This accessory is similar to the stylus used in Note models. The S Pen comes with Tweezers, a Clip, and Nib. Regarding software, the new tablet will feature Android 7.0 Nougat.
This operating system will offer users additional customized options, such as Air Command, Screen off memos, and Secure Folder. This way, the users will be able to make sure that their private notes, photos, and apps won’t be accessed by other people.
The Air Command feature can be activated by pressing the S Pen button, or by simply tapping the icon for Air Command. On the hardware part, the Tab S3 will come in two variants: SM-T825 and SM-T820. Unlike the SM-T280 which will have just WiFi connectivity, the SM-T825 will also support LTE.
The analysts say that the Galaxy Tab S3 will be equipped with a 9.7-inch display, backed by a 2048 x 1536-pixel resolution. Still, it is not known yet whether the two variants will feature an LCD panel or a Super AMOLED display.
The new tablet will function on a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM. Also, it will have 32/64GB of built-in storage. In addition, the Galaxy Tab S3 will sport a 12-megapixel main shooter and a 5-megapixel selfie cam.
Nevertheless, it’s still possible that the tech giant will enhance the new tablet with other high-quality features. The company hasn’t said anything yet about the price tag of the Tab S3 or its battery, but considering the fact that Samsung has such a large customer-based community, money won’t be an issue.
